Guru Sastra, known to many as Nilajah Blackmon,  studied the healing art & science of Kemetic Yoga, Qi Gong &
Meditation at the AUSARIAN TANTRA YOGA SCHOOL in Detroit, MI under the tutelage of Master Kwesi Karamoko
and became certified as Yoga Instructor .  Continuing in spiritual advancement  via preana (driving force or
initiating power) she studied the Healing Tao with Dr. Wayne Chandler & later became initiated into the sacred
knowledge of  SANATANA DHARMA-THE ETERNAL PATH as “Guru Sastra” by Dr. Sri Sarasvasti Schavi Ali at
PARAM PRASADA MANDIR (The Temple of Divine Favor).  Much earlier than all of these she was trained in the
Health & Nutritional Sciences by Dr. Khephera Jesal & Dr. Amen Ra Uhuru at THE NATURAL HEALING INSTITUTE
of West Bloomfield , MI & is currently completing her training in Ayurvedic Medicine with Dr. P.M. Sharma, of
Rajasthan, India.
